The name Turkey the Turtle comes from my childhood stuffed animal. When my parents brought home a stuffed animal for me, there was something in the shape that made me think of a turkey. Thus, I named my stuffed animal Turkey and took him everywhere with me. There are a few scars from when our dog Alfie got ahold of him and a few more from wear and tear, but he is still the same old Turkey the Turtle.
